SALT FLATS ROUTE
The Salt Flats Route is a full-day excursion that allows you to discover some of the most impressive and remote landscapes of the Atacama highlands. During the journey, we will travel through areas of outstanding natural beauty, where salt flats, lagoons, volcanoes, and mountains create a truly unique visual experience.
This tour stands out for its diversity of scenery: white salt expanses, intensely colored lagoons, rock formations sculpted by the wind, and natural viewpoints that reveal the grandeur of the high-altitude desert.
It is an ideal experience for travelers who want to go beyond the classic routes and discover a deeper, quieter, and wilder side of Atacama. Due to the altitude, it is recommended to take this excursion after one or two days of acclimatization in San Pedro.
